| | | With the warm waters of the Arabian Gulf bringing in masses of baitfish in winter, the Gulf is a prime hunting ground for the aggressive sailfish and many other game fish. The abundance of sailfish is staggering and double figure catches are a regular occurrence, with the record catch for one day being 30 sailfish and 27 of these sailfish being caught by one very tired angler! The size of the sails is also astonishing with fish of 150 lbs plus being caught every season, but the average size is around 70-90 lbs. |
The game fishing boats provided are all fully equipped with 30-50 lbs tackle with Fly Fishing tackle being provided on request. All the boats come with experienced big game crews who come from Kenya, South Africa and the UK. They will treat you to some of the best fishing that you will ever experience through their expertise and renowned hospitality. The game fish season starts in October and runs through to May.

| The possibility of catching sails on fly is very real as pods are often spotted finning on the surface, enabling the angler to ride up to the pod and throw a fly or a live mackerel at the cruising sails. The chances of catching other game fish, such as king mackerel, queen fish, barracuda, cobia and even the odd wahoo are great. |
